Nefesh Mountain has been hailed as one of the formative boundary-pushing ensembles in roots music today. For over a decade, they’ve carved out a sound all their own; blurring the lines between Americana, bluegrass, psych-folk, Jazz, blues, and jam.

Nefesh Mountain has been featured on NPR, Billboard, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, The Bluegrass Situation, No Depression, Bluegrass Unlimited, Bluegrass Today and more. They have recorded and shared the stage with Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton, Stuart Duncan, Noam Pikelny (Punch Brothers), Mark Schatz (Bèla Fleck, Nickel Creek), Greg Liesz, Mike Gordon (Phish) and Tony Trischka among many others.

In 2021 they made their debut at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN and in recent years have performed various Festivals, PACs, and countless venues including Mountain Stage, Merlefest, Wintergrass, Ossipee Valley, Kaw River Roots, Thomas Point Bluegrass and more. Through the years Nefesh Mountain has officially showcased and been a proud member of AmericanaFest, Folk Alliance, and the IBMA.

Doni Zasloff

Doni Zasloff is an award-winning singer, songwriter, author, and dynamic performer whose powerful voice, infectious energy, and heartfelt storytelling have captivated audiences around the world. Prior to founding Nefesh Mountain, Doni enjoyed a highly successful solo career as Mama Doni, becoming one of the most celebrated voices in Jewish children's and family entertainment. Her work earned three Parents' Choice Awards and the prestigious Simcha Award at the International Jewish Music Festival in Amsterdam. During her Mama Doni career, she released acclaimed recordings including Hanukkah Fever, Shabbat Shaboom!, I Love Herring and Other Fish Shticks for Kids, Emunah, and The Acoustic Jewish Holiday Collection, along with the family entertainment DVD Mama Doni's Jewish Holiday Party. Doni was also the official "Streit's Matzo Girl," appearing on millions of boxes of Streit's Matzo nationwide over four consecutive years.

Doni is an accomplished author and storyteller, having co-authored Get Cooking! A Jewish American Family Cookbook and Rockin' Mama Doni Celebration and Children's Sing-Along Alef Bet. She also created and narrated the musical audiobook projects Bible Stories and Bible Stories, Volume 2. ERIC LINDBERG

Award winning multi-instrumentalist, composer, and cultural innovator Eric Lindberg brings his musical background in Jazz and Classical forms to American Roots music. Eric graduated with honors from Mason Gross School Of The Arts with a Jazz performance degree under guitarist and mentor Vic Juris and since has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Hong Kong all the while cultivating his skillset and deep love for the Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, and Dobro. His influential work as a composer, singer, guitarist, and banjoist are known widely in the Americana / Roots community and the Jewish world today. Eric has recorded and shared the stage with Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Bryan Sutton, Mike Gordon (Phish), Noam Pikelny, Tony Trischka, David Grier, Mark Schatz, Scott Vestal, Rob Ickes, Byron House, Jeff Taylor and Chris Brown among many others.
