ABOUT NEFESH MOUNTAIN
Nefesh Mountain has been hailed as one of the formative boundary-pushing ensembles in American roots music. Creators, songwriters, and dynamic husband and wife troubadours Doni Zasloff and Eric Lindberg have carved out a world and sound all their own; blurring the lines between Bluegrass, Americana, Psych-folk, Jazz, Blues, and Jam. Zasloff and Lindberg are true musical pioneers, and are among the first to bring Bluegrass and Americana music together with their own Jewish heritage and tradition, forging a sonic landscape where they all meet on common ground.
Since their inception in 2015, Nefesh Mountain have amassed 6 studio albums and multiple live recordings, collaborating with a trove of friends and musicians including Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Stuart Duncan, Bryan Sutton, Rob McCoury, John Doyle, Tony Trischka, Noam Pikelny, Greg Leisz, and Mike Gordon (Phish) among others. Declared “A Powerhouse Unit” by Rolling Stone and “World class musicianship” by American Songwriter, and have been featured on NPR, PBS, Billboard, Relix, The Bluegrass Situation, and Bluegrass Today among many others.
In 2021 they made their debut at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN and in recent years have performed various Festivals, PACs, and countless venues including Mountain Stage, Merlefest, Wintergrass, Ossipee Valley, Kaw River Roots, Thomas Point Bluegrass and many more. Through the years Nefesh Mountain has officially showcased and been a proud member of AmericanaFest, Folk Alliance, and the IBMA.
